Happy Monday...only one week away from Christmas; are you ready? I am just about there!!
So over the weekend I finished "Manwhore +1" by Katy Evans, and I must say it was a great book and I even enjoyed the ending :) Please take a moment and read my quick review
Starts out with Rachel going to meet Malcolm Saint at his M4 empire, when she gets there what she really wants to do is apologize for hurting him, wanting him to talk to her even if only for a moment, but Saint has other plans; he offers her a chance of a lifetime to come work for him, he gives her all the time she needs to think about it. Rachel doesn't really want to work for him due to their current complications, so for now she declines. After a few weeks he begins to speak to her again, and they pick up pretty much where they left off in the first book, spending time and sleeping together, by the end of the book they are hot and heavy again. Rachel quits her job at "Edge" a magazine she had been working for, due to Saint's dad attempting to buy the company which she wants no parts of. Rachel runs to Malcolm at M4 and tells him what she has done, he takes her in an elevator to show her something....the 11th floor and empty floor much like a news room. He gives her, her every dream and she begins her own magazine with her own team, which are followers from Edge! In the epilogue Malcolm takes Rachel for dinner, they sit and he tells her since my mother can't meet you, I want you to meet my mother and pulls out a picture of her and gives to Rachel, he then pulls out a box that has Harry Winston on the top of it, his mom's ring, he proposes to Rachel with it and she says "Yes" The perfect ending to a great book!!!
I give this book 5 stars, it was such a great book, so much that when listening to it I was like okay I can't go to bed until this is done so i put on my headphones and continued. I would recommend this book to anyone who one liked the first book and two likes 50 shades because it has that 50 shades vibe.
